Home built @Greenland’s Lane Colombo 05 “we wanted a home that was going to be cool and comfortable to live in! All the houses (and buildings) we have been to in Sri Lanka were either made of brick or block and with the exception of some which had natural cross ventilation, all of the houses were hot- without fans or AC’s it was not possible to stay indoors! The dsignovation panel system from Korea gave us the option to build a home that was cool and comfortable throughout the year in this hot tropical country. The inbuilt insulation of the dsignovation panel makes the home cooler than outdoors! Even without a fan or AC it was comfortable to stay indoors unlike the homes/buildings constructed out of brick or block! Besides giving us a comfortable home, dsignovation enabled us to build a home with more usable floor space than a house built out of brick or block- and considering the fact that real estate is highly priced, getting more floor area was an added bonus. The construction period was also very much shorter than a comparable house built with brick or block. The completed home looks exactly like a house built with either brick or block but unlike the house built of brick or block- it has all these advantages that far outweighs brick or block construction. My grandfather and father may have built our ancestral / parental homes with brick or block but we chose an eco-friendly and energy efficient building dsignovation system for our home.

A small office premises was constructed using dsignovation panel system for the Community Police Division of the Cinnamon Garden Police in the heart of Colombo 07. The staff working in the Community Police Division confirmed that the new office is very much more comfortable than the previous one on account of how cool it was even without a fan!
